The Worth Valley Stompers

taken and changed its name to The Worth Valley Hot 7 in 2017

The Worth Valley Stompers was formed in October 2007 when Keighley and Worth Valley Railway volunteers Mark Croasdale and Keith Fort put a band together as a one off to play at the railways Beer and Music festival, due to its popularity Mark was asked to reform the band to play at other events.

Later that year Mark saw Ruth singing with a blues band and asked her if she would like to join the Worth Valley Stompers, she accepted the offer and has been signing with the band ever since.

The band have played at many of the Jazz clubs in the North of England and also Keswick Jazz festival, they have played at various events on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and also have a regular booking  on a Thursday evening at Bingley Jazz club.
