24/04/2021 - The River City Jazz Band based in North Wales is now defunct. Curly Jones who led the band for many years now has problems with his fingers. Bob Hambleton was sadly lost a couple of years and dep trombonists were difficult to find. Gerry Owen has recently had serious health difficulties. And so it goes on. Sad-Innit?
The River City Jazz Band was formed in the 1960’s and after some personnel changes over the years is still blowing strong. Band Contact. Curly Jones
