I remember Nev Taylor very well from those Manchester days Love to his family . Sheila Collier 02/10/19 - I knew Nev and remember his 21st birthday party at the Deanwater Hotel in Woodford! Mart had left his Jazz Aces when he was called up to go for National Service. He must have had a few days leave to be at the party and a photo taken showed Sue Macmanus, Tom Alker, Dizzy Burton, Mart, Nev, Bob Power and John Mayall. It must have been some of the Jazz Aces and a one or two from the Manchester Art School band. I remember Nev introducing me to Cathie at the Clarendon. Happy days! |
