Ron is a member of Didsbury Jazz Club in Manchester, and occasionally gets the chance to play trumpet with Terry Brunt in Ashton. The book is not a definitive history of New Orleans (I am not qualified to write such a work), but rather a story for those who love the music but who know little or nothing about the city itself. You might like to note that the net proceeds of the book are to be donated to NOMAF and the Musicians Clinic. I will try to persuade the Clinic to help promote the book in the States via their own publicity and promotional network.
